Duties

- Build trusting relationships with youth by providing consistent support, encouragement, and positive reinforcement
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote social skills, emotional well-being, and personal growth
- Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to create tailored mentorship plans
- Support youth in setting goals and overcoming challenges through active listening and problem-solving strategies
- Lead educational workshops or teaching sessions on life skills, health, or other relevant topics




- Monitor progress and document individual achievements to track development over time
- Promote a safe, inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences

Requirements

- Experience working with children in educational or community settings
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Robust passion for mentoring and empowering youth to succeed
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Ability to organize activities, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing needs
- Prior experience in teaching or facilitating group sessions is a plus
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to fostering positive relationships with young people

Pay: $16.27-$23.00 per hour
