Project Coordinator:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Coordinator for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Project Coordinator - Job Description:
The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of a large-scale, enterprise-wide global brand initiative. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role involves organizing project activities, maintaining timelines, coordinating meetings, and tracking progress to ensure successful project execution.
Project Coordinator - Responsibilities:
- Support the program management team by coordinating activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Assist in building and maintaining project timelines and workback schedules.
- Monitor project progress, risks, blockers, and action items, following up with owners and escalating issues when needed.
- Coordinate the setup of project meetings, capture key decisions, risks, and action items, and distribute concise meeting recaps.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, governance materials, status reports, and reporting dashboards.
- Support project governance and operational excellence by maintaining best practices and improving processes.
Project Coordinator - Mandatory Skills:
- University or college degree in Business, Marketing, Digital, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, marketing operations, or administrative support role.
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving project requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Solid organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Project Coordinator – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience using project management tools such as Wrike, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- CAPM certification or progress toward a PMP certification.
- Experience supporting large-scale marketing, branding, transformation, or organizational change initiatives.
Project Coordinator – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The position is hybrid with 1 day in the office per week.
