Part-Time Evening Commercial Cleaner

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Hours: 20 hours per week
Pay: $17.95 per hour

Job Description

Generations Cleaning is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Evening Cleaner to maintain a professional commercial building.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can consistently maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Particular attention is required for floor care, dusting, glass cleaning, washrooms, and high-traffic areas.

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include:

- Vacuuming carpets, entrance mats, offices, workstations, boardrooms, and high-traffic areas
- Sweeping, dry mopping, and wet mopping hard-surface flooring using proper floor-cleaning procedures
- Dusting desks, tables, ledges, railings, seating areas, and other accessible surfaces
- Spot cleaning interior glass, entrance doors, partitions, and other glass surfaces
- Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms and change rooms, including toilets, sinks, countertops, mirrors, and fixtures
- Refilling soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and other washroom supplies as required
- Cleaning kitchenettes, including countertops, sinks, tables, and appliance exteriors
- Cleaning microwave interiors weekly and refrigerator interiors monthly
- Emptying garbage and recycling and replacing liners
- Cleaning boardroom tables, chairs, and shared work areas




- Cleaning stairwells, including sweeping, mopping, dusting railings, and removing cobwebs
- Cleaning entrance areas and removing visible dirt and debris
- Disinfecting high-touch surfaces throughout the building
- Ensuring corners, edges, and less-visible areas are not missed
- Reporting any maintenance, supply, or cleaning concerns to management

What We're Looking For

- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to work independently and follow a detailed cleaning schedule
- Ability to perform physical cleaning duties throughout a 4-hour shift
- Comfortable vacuuming, mopping, bending, reaching, and completing repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to maintain consistent cleaning standards throughout the entire facility
- Qualified and respectful when working in client spaces

$17.95 per hour
