Job Summary

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, ensuring proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients
- Operate basic kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Support cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) operations when needed for food orders or customer transactions




- Contribute to a welcoming environment by supporting guest services and maintaining a positive attitude during busy periods

Skills

- Previous food service experience or kitchen experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with restaurant operations, serving, cashiering, or Micros POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Hospitality background or hotel experience can be advantageous
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is beneficial but not required
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively with team members

Pay: $18.25-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
