We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Salon Receptionist to join our team in New Westminster, BC. As the first point of contact, you will deliver exceptional customer service, manage client scheduling and transactions, and ensure our reception and common areas remain spotless and welcoming.

- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts - Mondays to Fridays

Key Responsibilities

- Client Experience: Greet clients warmly, assist with inquiries, manage check-ins/check-outs, and conduct basic product recommendations.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle appointment bookings, calendar management, and client confirmations using our POS system.
- Transactions: Accurately process cash, debit, and credit transactions, manage register balances, and issue receipts.
- Salon Maintenance & Laundry: Maintain cleanliness, organization, and tidiness across the reception area and common spaces; assist staff with laundry operations.
- Team Support:



Communicate effectively with salon staff to ensure smooth daily operations and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 1+ years of experience in front desk administration, customer service, or hospitality (salon/spa experience preferred).
- Work Authorization: Valid Work Permit or Legal Authorization to work in Canada (Required).
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English, strong organization, multitasking under pressure, and basic math/POS operation skills.
- Language: Portuguese speaker preferred.
- Mindset: Dependable, detail-oriented, team player, with a strong passion for the beauty industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
