Job Overview

We are growing and are seeking reliable and hard-working Grinder Operators / Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a great attitude who’s eager to learn and grow in a hands-on environment. No prior experience is required—we’ll provide full training. You’ll play a key role in keeping our regrind operations clean, efficient, and contamination-free. Keep correct materials supplied to dryers and extrusion lines while ensuring dryers are set to correct temps and functioning properly. Day and Night shifts are available!

Responsibilities

- Operate grinders to process plastic regrind material efficiently with minimal downtime
- Perform basic equipment start-up and shut-down procedures
- Clean grinding equipment between runs to prevent material contamination
- Follow grinding flow charts and work instructions accurately
- Maintain clear and accurate records using computer software and internal forms
- Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with 5S and GMP standards
- Use computers to navigate basic file systems and locate documents (SOPs, forms, etc.)
- Report any contamination or non-conformance immediately to leadership
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
- Work independently and stay productive during downtime or low supervision
- Identify and complete tasks proactively—keep equipment clean, assist teammates, and maintain flow
- Participate in additional duties or training as assigned

Qualifications

- No experience required – full training provided
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable attendance and commitment to safety




- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs regularly
- Basic math and reading comprehension (12th-grade level)
- Comfortable working around machinery, noise, dust, and temperature changes
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing is a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Shifts Available:
GOEX is a 24/7 facility with a 2x2x3 12 hour rotating schedule

- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Day Shift: 5:50am - 6:00pm ($3/hour premium for weekends)
- Night Shift: 5:50pm - 6:00am ($3/hour premium for night shift and $3/hour premium for weekends)
