Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Class 4 Driver to join our team for after-school student pick-up services. This vital role involves safely transporting children from school to our Academy located at Lansdowne Centre in Richmond

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, responsible, and committed to providing a positive experience for young learners while demonstrating excellent driving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle designated for student transportation during after-school hours
- Pick up children from school campuses and deliver them to our Academy in a timely manner
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during transit by following safety protocols and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle through regular inspections and reporting issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of routes, pick-up times,



and any incidents or irregularities during transit
- Assist with loading or unloading children when necessary, providing support as needed.

Skills

- Experience working with children in educational, childcare, or caregiving settings
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and licensing requirements (Class 4 license)
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
