Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Class 1 Hot Shot Driver to join our team in Stony Plain, Alberta.

The successful candidate will have experience operating a tri-axle gooseneck trailer and be comfortable travelling throughout British Columbia and Alberta. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Class 1 truck and tri-axle gooseneck trailer
- Transport freight, equipment, and specialized loads safely and efficiently
- Travel throughout Alberta and British Columbia as required
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported safely
- Follow all applicable transportation regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate logbooks, trip documentation, and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers,



and team members
- Complete basic equipment checks and report any mechanical or safety concerns
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when representing the company

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence
- Hot Shot driving experience
- Experience operating a tri-axle gooseneck trailer
- Experience driving in British Columbia
- Strong knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices
- Good understanding of Hours of Service and transportation regulations
- Clean and reliable driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, safety-minded, and qualified
- Automotive or mechanical experience is considered an asset
