Junior Buyer - Consumer Packaged Goods

Location: Saint-Laurent, Montreal
Work Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week in office

Position Overview

A growing company in Saint-Laurent is looking for a motivated and organized Junior Buyer to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in purchasing, procurement, and supply chain.

In this role, you will be working with very known suppliers!

The Junior Buyer will support day-to-day purchasing activities and act as an important link between suppliers, customers, warehouses, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with vendors, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, and lead times.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchase agreements.
- Place and monitor purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouses regarding incoming inventory and product availability.
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate purchasing requirements.
- Help ensure purchasing and sales activities align with inventory availability and company strategy.




- Act as a link between suppliers, customers, warehouses, and internal departments.
- Follow up with vendors and resolve supply, pricing, or delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and related documentation.
- Support the team with additional purchasing and inventory-related activities as required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or a related role is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up effectively.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Motivated to learn and grow within a purchasing and supply chain environment

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
