We're growing our Commercial Division and are looking for experienced 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Apprentice Electricians who take pride in their work, enjoy solving problems, and values professionalism.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll work alongside our team to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Your responsibilities include:

- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations;
- Install, examine, demolish, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components;




- Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance;
- Assist with maintaining, repairing, installing and testing switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters;
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair, electrical and low voltage control systems and other related devices;
- Attend required safety meetings;
- Actively involved with Journeyman to increase knowledge base for apprenticeship;
- Maintain a safe work setting by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor;
- Organizing and maintaining required material;
- Ensure that all work areas are clean and well maintained before, throughout and after completion of job;
- Other duties as assigned.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their workmanship, and represents our company professionally on every jobsite.

Qualifications

- Active registration with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) in Electrical (required);
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Elevated Work Platform certification
- Fall Protection/Fall Arrest certification
- Standard First Aid is considered an asset
- CSTS and WHMIS are considered an asset

Experience

- Good troubleshooting skills,



repair abilities and installation skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Strong communications skills and customer service orientation;
- Comfortable working outdoors;
- Candidates must be comfortable working at heights;
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Pay: $24.90-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
