G2 Gas Technician – High-Efficiency Boiler Installer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced G2 Gas Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, with strong experience in the installation of high-efficiency boilers and hydronic heating systems.

This is a hands-on position suited for a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and skilled customer service.

Responsibilities

* Install, pipe, and commission high-efficiency boilers

* Install and service hydronic heating systems

* Perform gas piping and appliance connections in accordance with applicable codes

* Read and interpret mechanical drawings and installation specifications

* Complete start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of boiler systems

* Diagnose and resolve installation and equipment issues

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with TSSA requirements and applicable Ontario codes

* Maintain a clean and organized work area

* Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades

* Complete required job documentation and service reports

Requirements





* Valid G2 Gas Technician certification in Ontario

* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Gas Technician

* Proven experience installing high-efficiency boilers

* Strong knowledge of hydronic heating systems

* Ability to read drawings and understand piping layouts

* Knowledge of Ontario gas codes and safety requirements

* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Professional attitude and good communication skills
