Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our healthcare team in Kitchener. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide primary and preventive healthcare to patients of all ages.
- Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Manage acute illnesses and injuries.
- Provide routine health screenings and patient education.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems.
- Provide home care services when required.
- Follow current clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.




- Maintain professional and compassionate communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Ontario medical licence and eligibility to practise as a Family Physician.
- Experience in primary care and/or acute care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner is an asset.
- Pediatrics and pain management experience is an asset.
- Home care experience is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation

80/20 Compensation Split with the Clinic
