Local Electrical Company looking for Journeyman Electrician or 3rd or 4th year apprentice. The company has operated for 20 years in the Columbia Valley with Invermere as the home base. We are looking for a knowledgable, self motivated candidate with strong leadership skills. Benefits after 6 months employment.

Duties and responsibilities:

Service calls

Job design and completion

Follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings for installations

Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested

Conduct all repairs and installations according to Canadian Electrical Code

Required Qualifications:

Residential and Commercial experience

Solid working knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systems

Valid driver's Licence

Ability to work independently and lead a small crew of journeyman and apprentice electricians.

Excellent customer service skills

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Invermere, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (preferred)
