Working Scaffold Foreman / Scaffold Builder – Edmonton

Unique Scaffold Inc. is looking for an experienced Working Scaffold Foreman / Scaffold Builder to join our Edmonton team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building scaffold, leading a crew and being part of the work. We are looking for an experienced scaffolder who can take charge of a job while continuing to work on the tools alongside their crew.
Responsibilities
- Lead and run scaffold crews on commercial and industrial projects
- Actively build scaffold alongside your crew
- Erect, modify and dismantle scaffold systems
- Plan daily work and organize crew activities
- Keep projects moving safely and efficiently
- Coordinate manpower, scaffold material and equipment
- Ensure scaffold is built safely and to a high standard
- Monitor job progress, labour hours and productivity
- Complete required field and safety documentation
- Communicate with Superintendents and Project Managers
- Mentor apprentices and developing scaffolders
- Help create a positive and productive crew environment
- Represent Unique Scaffold professionally on customer sites
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Scaffolder preferred
- Strong scaffold building experience
- Previous experience leading or running scaffold crews
- Experience with system scaffold and tube & clamp
- Able to understand the job, plan the build and organize a crew
- Strong understanding of scaffold safety requirements
- Valid CSTS and Fall Protection
- Valid driver's licence
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, hardworking and comfortable taking ownership of a job

You should be comfortable running a crew, planning the work and making decisions in the field, but you should also enjoy getting on the tools and building with your team.
