Procom is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our client in the private sector

LOCATION: HYBRID (3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OTTAWA, VICTORIA, BC OR MALAHAT LOCATION OR DARTMOUTH/HALIFAX NOVA SCOTIA)

Minimum Requirements

- University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a relevant discipline;
- 12+ years of experience documenting business processes and system requirements;
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience within the last 10 years leading Business Analysis activities or workshops in a large scale project;
- Proven problem solving and analytic skills with a track record of successful outcomes; Recognized for ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization; Must be versatile, adaptable and willing to learn; Capable of developing strong relationships across the business through excellent customer service;
- Experience in business / enterprise architecture; Experience in developing business strategies;
- Experience in a Navy or Aviation maintenance context;




- Practical experience in design thinking / design workshops.

STATEMENT OF WORK

Key Areas of Responsibility

- Lead the Business Analysis team within AJISS responsible for process definition and maturity;
- Collaborate to the definition and refinement of processes based on end-user interviews / workshops or pain points gathered from within AJISS and/or within the DND/RCN;
- Apply LEAN techniques, including Value Stream Mapping, to access enterprise process maturity;
- Responsible for formulating value propositions in prevision to engagements with sponsors / customers;
- Responsible for delivering requirements, pain points and opportunities through analysis of existing tools, processes and data;
- Liaise with the AJISS Team in order to ensure coherence in the messaging to the AJISS Customer;
- Contribute to the development of VECPs per the approved AJISS template, which includes a description of the change proposal, its benefits, a cost breakdown and a general notion of value proposition; and;
- Recommend how to promote a collaborative and innovation culture to DND/RCN and across the AJISS Enterprise.
