Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Foreperson / Assistant Site Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist and lead on multifamily projects in the Edmonton area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid leadership skills, construction experience, and a passion for a solid future.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate crew members, subtrades providing clear instructions and fostering a safe work environment.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines are adhered to and work is completed efficiently.
- Work as an assistant to the Site Superintendent with the vision of being able to advance to becoming a Site Superintendent leading on your own.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet specifications and address site-specific needs.
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in planning and organizing construction activities along with your Site Super.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in construction with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in Multifamily construction, wood frame and concrete.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic Microsoft skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
