Food Service Staff – Secondary School Setting

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly individual to join our team as part-time Food Service Staff in a secondary school setting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a steady daytime schedule and appreciates having weekends, holidays, and summers off.
You’ll be part of a small, supportive team providing nutritious meals in a protected and welcoming environment for students and staff. We’re looking to fill this role soon, so if you're ready to make a meaningful impact during the school day—we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in food service, including food prep and cash handling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures
- Competence using standard kitchen equipment
- Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred)
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- A current police check with vulnerable sector screening (required)
- A professional and approachable demeanor appropriate for a school environment
Schedule & Details:
- Monday to Friday, following the school calendar
- Approximately 5–7 hours per day
- Part-time, contract position
