TABY Transport is looking for a ressourceful, organized and tech-savvy Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to manage our day-to-day transportation needs while helping us modernize and improve how we operate.This is more than a traditional dispatch role. We want someone who is a strong problem solver, comfortable with technology and always looking for a better way to get things done.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate daily truck routes, deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with drivers, customers and our operations team
- Respond to delays, breakdowns and last-minute changes
- Coordinate loads to improve truck utilization and delivery efficiency
- Monitor driver, fleet, maintenance and compliance information
- Maintain accurate digital dispatch records
- Help improve scheduling, tracking, reporting and communication
- Identify opportunities to reduce paperwork and automate repetitive tasks
- Make better use of our transportation and business software
Who We’re Looking For
- Excellent problem solver who stays calm when plans change
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer skills and comfortable learning new software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Professional and confident with customers and drivers
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Interested in improving processes, not just maintaining them
- Transportation, dispatch, logistics or operations experience is an asset
- Bilingual English/French is a strong asset
Transportation doesn’t always go according to plan. We’re looking for someone whose reaction when something goes wrong is:“Okay — let’s figure this out.”
