Ottawa, ON | Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Schedule

Senior Mobile Dental Services is looking for a compassionate Associate Dentist to provide on-site dental care to seniors living in retirement residences and long-term care communities throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Our mobile model brings dental care directly to patients who may have difficulty accessing a traditional clinic.

You won’t be working alone or managing the mobile setup yourself. Our experienced dental assistants and administrative team coordinate the instruments, equipment, scheduling, facility communication, and day-to-day logistics so you can focus on providing excellent patient care.

Why Join Us?

- Versatile full-time or part-time schedule
- Meaningful work providing care to seniors who may otherwise have difficulty accessing dentistry
- Strong clinical and administrative support
- Dental instruments and mobile equipment are provided, transported, prepared, and handled by our assisting team
- Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel between facilities
- Company events and team gatherings
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
- Variety and professional independence outside a traditional clinic setting

What You’ll Do

- Perform dental examinations and oral health assessments
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide restorative treatment, including fillings
- Perform extractions when clinically appropriate
- Provide other appropriate general dental procedures within the mobile care environment
- Discuss treatment recommendations and after-care with residents and, when appropriate, families or caregivers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using dental software
- Collaborate with dental assistants, PSWs, nurses, caregivers, and facility staff

- Travel to scheduled retirement residences and long-term care communities throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas

What We’re Looking For

- Current RCDSO licence in good standing
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach
- Comfort working with older adults, including patients with mobility, medical, cognitive, or accessibility challenges
- Ability and willingness to travel between scheduled facilities

Experience with seniors, long-term care, mobile dentistry, or vulnerable populations is an asset, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

- Full-time earning opportunity starting from approximately $240,000 annually, depending on schedule and compensation structure
- Part-time opportunities available
- Flexible scheduling
- Mileage reimbursement
- Company events
- Dental assistant and administrative support
- Instruments and mobile dental equipment provided

Make a Difference Through Dentistry
