Associate Dentist – Mobile Senior Dental Care
Ottawa, ON | Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Schedule
Senior Mobile Dental Services is looking for a compassionate Associate Dentist to provide on-site dental care to seniors living in retirement residences and long-term care communities throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas.
Our mobile model brings dental care directly to patients who may have difficulty accessing a traditional clinic.
You won’t be working alone or managing the mobile setup yourself. Our experienced dental assistants and administrative team coordinate the instruments, equipment, scheduling, facility communication, and day-to-day logistics so you can focus on providing excellent patient care.

What You’ll Do
- Perform dental examinations and oral health assessments
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide restorative treatment, including fillings
- Perform extractions when clinically appropriate
- Provide other appropriate general dental procedures within the mobile care environment
- Discuss treatment recommendations and after-care with residents and, when appropriate, families or caregivers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using dental software
- Collaborate with dental assistants, PSWs, nurses, caregivers, and facility staff
- Travel to scheduled retirement residences and long-term care communities throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas
What We’re Looking For
- Current RCDSO licence in good standing
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach
- Comfort working with older adults, including patients with mobility, medical, cognitive, or accessibility challenges
- Ability and willingness to travel between scheduled facilities
Experience with seniors, long-term care, mobile dentistry, or vulnerable populations is an asset, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time earning opportunity starting from approximately $240,000 annually, depending on schedule and compensation structure
