Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Psychologist to join our team, specializing in comprehensive psychological assessments. In this vital role, you will provide thorough evaluations to support individuals across diverse age groups, including children and adolescents and adults ensuring accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment recommendations. This position offers an exciting prospect to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. As a contract position you can create your hours for what works for you.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for clients of all ages, with a focus on Autism Assessments and Adult assessments.
- Administer and interpret a variety of standardized tests and clinical interviews to evaluate cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental functioning.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessment results, clinical observations, and diagnostic impressions in accordance with professional standards.




- Provide clear feedback sessions to clients and families, explaining assessment outcomes and recommended next steps.
- Stay current with research developments in psychology and incorporate evidence-based practices into assessments.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality protocols, and relevant licensing requirements at all times.

Experience and Registration Required

- Must be a registered psychologist in Alberta with an active CAP registration
- Liability Insurance
- Proven experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, particularly Autism and Adult assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism.
- Proven track record of being reliable
- Knowledge of special education needs and interventions is a valuable asset.
- Training and experience with ADOS, WISC, WIAT, WAIS, MMPI and more

Pay: $158.00 per hour
