Job Overview

We are seeking a foodie forward Retail Manager to lead our day to day operations with enthusiasm and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. In this pilot role, you will oversee daily store activities, lead a small team, and ensure an exceptional tasting experience for all customers. You will work closely with a present owner to drive sales growth, optimize merchandising strategies, and foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork and career development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help shape the success of our retail location while developing your managerial skills in a fast-paced, positive setting.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- Train and develop team members to achieve sales targets and uphold company standards.
- Manage merchandising efforts by organizing product displays, pricing, and inventory to maximize sales potential.
- Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting with accuracy.
- Implement marketing initiatives through social media to attract new customers and retain existing ones through promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively engage with staff, vendors, and customers.

Experience

- Supervising experience in a retail environment with demonstrated leadership capabilities is an asset.
- Strong background in retail sales including, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail software applications.
- Experience in training & development of staff members to build high-performing teams is an asset.
- Knowledge of social media marketing techniques, is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with time management proficiency to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 38.0 per week
