On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for Design Researchers for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Design Researchers x2 - Job Description:
This project involves working on the Research Science Group of the Human Centered Design Research team, focusing on next-generation Human Computer Interaction and emerging technologies. The role involves conducting and enabling research to inform the development of cutting-edge and meaningful user experiences.

Design Researchers x2 - Responsibilities:

- Conduct research design by identifying research opportunities, defining questions, and creating actionable plans
- Prepare for research by creating participant screeners and recruiting participants
- Collect data using various design research methods such as user interviews and usability testing
- Analyze data using qualitative and quantitative approaches
- Report findings to drive ideation and inform design
- Collaborate with POD leaders, designers, and stakeholders to support research needs
- Build research roadmaps and oversee research vendor activities




- Mentor interns and junior researchers as required
- Participate in strategic planning and development of research models

Design Researchers x2 - Mandatory Skills:

- Deep expertise in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or Anthropology
- 5+ years of experience leading research projects
- Experience in all process steps of research work including preparation, data collection, and analysis
- Strong communication skills: written, oral, and graphical
- Strong project management skills

Design Researchers x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Marketing experience
- Knowledge of finance or financial institutions
- Keen interest in AI
- Experience working with stakeholders to create research champions
- Experience in blended research roles with strategy and design tasks

Design Researchers x2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
