Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time On-Call Early Childhood Educators to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by creating engaging learning environments and assisting with daily activities. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability while making a meaningful impact on our community’s youngest members.

Duties

- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Support classroom management and ensure a safe, inclusive setting for all children
- Engage children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and educational exercises
- Collaborate with team members to monitor children’s progress and address individual needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and equipment
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children’s activities and well-being




- Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations related to early childhood educationSkills
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and schedules
- Computer literacy for documentation, record keeping, and communication purposes
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide children through learning experiences
- Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Writing skills for maintaining accurate records and reports

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
