Note: This role is for a 3-Month Contract with the potential for Fulltime
Pay Range: $22.25 - $26.20
Job Summary:
The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to and from designated locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibility:

Safely operate a truck to deliver products to various destinations, including warehouses, retail locations, and customer sites.
- Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption and travel time
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues to management.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of landing, delivery receipts, and any other required documentation.
- Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and company policies regarding transportation safety and hazardous materials
- Communicate effectively to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues that may arise
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is securely placed and properly secured for transit
- Perform other tasks as assigned by lead hand/supervisor
Academic/Educational Requirements:

High school diploma is preferred
Required Skills/Experience:

Must possess a valid driver's license and 2 years driving experience.
- A valid AZ driver’s license with appropriate endorsements is considered an asset.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong navigation skills, ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided).
- Positive verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
