Production Welder

OLS-NA - Ayr, ON

Position Summary: To perform production welding and fitting tasks in our manufacturing departments that will include use of detailed prints, assembly, painting, material preparation, packaging and the movement of materials. The use of tools and machines in the manufacturing process. To perform quality checks and follow company procedures

Hours: Working hours is straight days from 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with potential overtime requirements.

Rate of Pay - $25 to $28 per hour depending on skills and experience, with benefits and pension after 3 months

Responsibilities:

· Weld(Flux Core) and fabricate to a high standard.

· Assemble parts as per work instructions.

· Prepare materials.

· Operate overhead crane if required.

· Operate motorized lift truck if required.

· Meet production targets and goals.

· Manufacture parts to meet quality standards.

· Update production, materials and quality records.

· All other duties as required.

Requirements:





· Must process good mechanical aptitude.

· Able to work with limited/minimal supervision.

· Follow OLS Quality System procedures.

· Be open minded to continuous improvement activities.

· Adjust easily to change.

· Work at a quick consistent pace.

· Work in a team environment.

· Follow OLS group heath and safety policies.

· Grade 12 (high school) diploma.

· CWB certification. (Preferred)

· 1-year manufacturing-welding experience. (Preferred)

· Operate overhead crane if required.

· Operate motorized lift truck if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
