Job Purpose:
Set up machines and tools on thermoforming platforms and associated equipment to ensure high-quality production with optimal efficiency.

Shift: Comfortable working Rotation Continental Shift

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently performed machine setups and advanced troubleshooting on various thermoforming platforms (Kiefel, Brown, GN, OMG) across multiple plant locations.
- Supported continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with the Process Engineering team.
- Participated actively in tool preventive maintenance (PM) and repair tasks.
- Contributed to projects focused on increasing production efficiency, reducing cycle time and waste, and overall operational optimization.
- Conducted trials and qualifications for new tools and optimized process parameters.
- Trained and mentored junior setup technicians.
- Diagnosed and resolved complex processing issues related to thermoforming machinery and associated systems.
- Provided technical guidance during complex machine setups.
- Supported production testing and sample-making activities, ensuring proper documentation was completed.
- Conducted product qualification processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Offered input during current product development phases.




- Strictly followed lockout/tagout procedures and all safety protocols.
- Maintained a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
- Adhered to company safety and GMP quality policies at all times.
- Performed additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 year of experience in thermoforming or plastics processing
- In-depth mechanical and control systems knowledge of thermoforming equipment
- Skilled in operating forklifts, overhead cranes, Blue Giant lifts, tool carts, and pallet jacks
- Proficient with measuring tools including vernier calipers and micrometers
- Strong understanding of plastic molds and tooling systems
- Capable of lifting and moving parts, boxes, and equipment as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing and able to work 12-hour continental shifts with bi-monthly rotations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
