We Are Looking for an Established Irish Engineering Company Experienced Candidates for The Below Role:

Design Engineer – Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems

Key Responsibilities:

· Design hydraulic and pneumatic systems, circuits, manifolds, power units, and related mechanical assemblies.

· Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for manufacturing and assembly.

· Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and technical specifications.

· Select appropriate hydraulic and pneumatic components based on performance and customer requirements.

· Perform engineering calculations including pressure drops, flow rates, force calculations, cylinder sizing, and power requirements.

· Collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop technical proposals and customized solutions.

· Support manufacturing by resolving design issues and providing technical guidance.

· Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

· Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Investigate product failures and implement corrective design improvements.





· Coordinate with suppliers to evaluate new components and technologies.

· Participate in prototype development, testing, commissioning, and validation.

· Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.

· Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.

· 3–5 years of experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, or industrial equipment design

· Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar.

· Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuit design.

· Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements.

· Excellent analytical and communication skills.
