Gourmet Chef is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations.
We are looking for Sanitation Worker who is responsible for the safety of products and all daily sanitation activities are followed with the Standard Operating Procedures, GMP and HACCP guidelines, alignment and compliance to SQF Standards.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Responsible for cleaning all equipment (direct and non-direct food contacts) as per sanitation program requirements
- Responsible for using appropriate and approved chemical and concentration during cleaning
- Report any sanitation concern and cleaning equipment issues to Supervisor
- Complies with all safety policy, accident prevention and compliance programs; reports any potential loss situations, hazards, injuries, and other losses to Supervisor
- Maintains processing area and equipment to a satisfactory level of cleanliness
- Ensures proper sanitation practices are being observed during operations to prevent potential contamination
- Follow employee safety practices and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during sanitation
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work in highly repetitive task environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs -50 lbs where required and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in working in a food manufacturing plant a definite asset
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends is an asset
