As a Business Development Sales Representative, you’ll connect with businesses in a defined territory, learn about their hiring needs, and introduce Express solutions. You’ll develop new business and build relationships with existing clients, making a direct contribution to our work of helping people find jobs and businesses grow.

What you’ll do

· Identify and prospect new business opportunities within your assigned territory.

· Call on local businesses and build relationships with owners and decision-makers.

· Ask thoughtful questions to understand each employer’s hiring needs and business challenges.

· Present Express employment, leadership, and human resources solutions that fit each client’s needs.

· Stay connected with an existing book of business and identify opportunities to expand those relationships.

· Keep your sales activities organized and follow through on client conversations and opportunities.

What you’ll bring

· Customer service or sales experience, plus experience calling on businesses.





· Familiarity with territory sales or trade shows and an understanding of common business practices.

· A friendly, professional approach and confidence speaking with local business leaders.

· Strong organization, a practical approach to solving problems, and the ability to manage changing priorities.

· Motivation to achieve results and contribute to a team in a fast-paced environment.

· A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
