Thomas Solutions is seeking a dependable Yard Attendant to support day-to-day yard, vehicle, and shop operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in a safe, organized workplace and is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

You will help maintain our fleet and facility, which includes heavy trucks, tractors, trailers, pickup trucks, cars, and UTVs. The role supports the Service and Parts teams and contributes to a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct off-rent vehicle inspections and fuel vehicles in all weather conditions.

· Shuttle, park, and organize vehicles while keeping the yard clean, orderly, and accessible.

· Assist with preparing rental equipment, including exterior power washing and undercarriage cleaning.

· Pick up and deliver customer vehicles, equipment, and automotive or truck parts as needed.

· Provide general shop support, including maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

· Handle recycling, garbage, and other yard or shop upkeep tasks.

· Follow all company safety procedures and report vehicle, equipment, or facility concerns promptly.

Qualifications





· Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

· General shop and mechanical knowledge; familiarity with trucks, trailers, or fleet equipment is an asset.

· Ability to safely operate vehicles and complete routine inspections.

· Strong organization skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

· Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· CSA-approved safety footwear required.
