Spray Painter

Job Duties:

- Work with water base (98%) and solvents (2%)
- Spray paint cabinet parts using spray gun
- Prepare material for staining/painting
- Sand and touch up as needed
- Mix colors as needed
- Apply paints, stains or lacquers and top coats
- Glaze and antiquing
- Maintain spray paint equipment
- Judge quality of finished product and correct if needed
- Clean up work area and equipment daily
- Other duties as assigned

General Experience/Abilities Requirements:

- 3 years spray paint (water based) application experience on wood products using spray guns
- Able to use rate, ratios, proportion to mix finishes and calculate how much color to mix for different batches of stain/color
- Able to work with paint products, thinners and lacquers
- Experience sanding
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent attention to detail




- Must be able to work standing for long periods of time (max 3.5 hours at a time)
- Must be able to wear PPE

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hrs per week).
