Responsibilities

Future-State Process Design

Work with Process Owners, Key Users, SMEs, and the G&TL; to define future-state business processes.

Translate business objectives into practical and scalable ERP-supported processes.

Challenge legacy practices and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.

Identify process impacts, dependencies, and design trade-offs across functions.

Business-to-System Translation

Translate approved business processes into clear functional requirements.

Evaluate Business Central capabilities, limitations, and configuration options.

Present alternative solution approaches and explain associated trade-offs to business stakeholders.

Ensure solution design decisions align with approved future-state processes.

Solution Design Support

Act as the primary business-side counterpart to Aptean Functional Analysts.

Review and validate proposed configurations and functional designs.

Participate in design workshops, configuration reviews, and solution walk-throughs.

Escalate solution-design concerns and unresolved trade-offs through project governance.

Requirements & Decision Management

Maintain business requirements, process decisions, assumptions, and design rationale.

Ensure traceability between business requirements, approved designs, testing activities, and deployed solutions.

Support Process Owners in evaluating configuration, customization, and workflow decisions.

Testing & Deployment

Ensure future-state processes are reflected in SIT, Pre-UAT, UAT, and training scenarios.

Validate that configured solutions support approved business processes.





Assist with issue triage during testing and hypercare.

Support process stabilization and continuous improvement following go-live.

Qualifications

Experience

5+ years of experience in ERP implementation, business analysis, process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation.

Participation in at least one full ERP implementation lifecycle.

Experience gathering requirements and supporting solution design discussions.

Experience facilitating workshops with business stakeholders.

Experience working with implementation partners, consultants, or system integrators.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of integrated business processes including:

Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Operations

Understanding of ERP concepts including:

Master data, Workflow, Controls, Process integration, Role-based security

Skills

Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements.

Ability to understand ERP configuration trade-offs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Ability to challenge recommendations constructively and diplomatically.

Ability to influence without direct authority.

Required

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or equivalent ERP platforms.

Exposure to process mapping, change impact analysis, testing, and organizational transformation.

Preferred

Experience in apparel, distribution, wholesale, inventory-intensive, or manufacturing environments.

Pay: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
