HarmonyCrew Home Health Care is looking for experienced, professional and compassionate casual Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and Caregivers to join our growing team and provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes.

Our Candidates Will Need

- HCA certification or equivalent for HCA positions
- Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry, where applicable
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
- Police/Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or senior-care experience
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Compassionate, patient, dependable and respectful attitude
- Ability to work independently in a client's home
- Ability to travel to client locations
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence for driving assignments
- Reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance for driving assignments




- Versatile availability for casual and part-time shifts

Duties

- Assisting with personal care and grooming
- Bathing and showering assistance
- Dressing and undressing
- Toileting and hygiene support
- Mobility assistance, including walking and transfers
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance when required
- Light housekeeping, laundry and general tidying
- Companionship and social support
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands and outings
- Respite support for family caregivers
- Supporting clients living with Alzheimer's and dementia
- Following individual care plans
- Observing and reporting changes in clients' needs or well-being
- Maintaining client dignity, privacy, comfort and safety

Applicants should be comfortable working independently and be physically able to safely perform the duties required for their assigned clients.

Experience

- Caregiving: 1 year (required)
- Senior care: Experience preferred

Licence / Certification
