Operate roll machines and other finishing services to fill customer orders for meeting the department production and quality goals, as well as playing a key role in customer satisfaction goals.
Duties
- Operate and maintain roll print devices (roll to roll machines)
- Operate Flatbeds & Kongsberg cutters
- Process and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Retrieve rolls of media from warehouse
- Co-ordinate with the Production Manager to produce and prioritize jobs
- Read and properly execute detailed job ticket instructions
- Communicate and troubleshoot with other departments to meet deadlines
- Gather, organize, tape and neatly package finished product for delivery to customer or next department
- Hand-in paperwork for the billing process
- Monitor work process for high quality output
- Perform some shipping & receiving duties
- Assisting in picking, packing, processing and auditing customer orders
- Create shipping labels and coordinate with shipping vendors as necessary
- Document preparation and inputting customer orders into a custom software system
- Follow department procedures to ensure accuracy of orders and ensure zero product delinquency
- Conformance to departmental and company standards with the intention of bringing up ideas for continuous improvement
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and department
