We are currently seeking a skilled Dressmaker to join an established local family business, specializing in ladies' and men's clothing alterations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and extensive experience in sewing and alterations. We require proficiency in altering and repairing formal wear, including ladies’ dresses and men's suits. Key responsibilities will include conducting customer fittings, hemming, zipper replacements, sleeve shortening, and tapering of men's suit jackets and pants.
As part of the screening process, a sewing skills test will be administered.
This position is initially part-time, with the potential for a transition to full time employment.
The pay rate will be determined based on experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sewing and alterations is required for this role.
