Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Duties
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks to enhance their recovery.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document progress as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques to facilitate their rehabilitation.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with acute care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
- Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate within the healthcare team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented workplace.
