Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Night Line Cooks/Closers to join our culinary team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food service and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Night Line Cook/Closer, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Assist with food handling and ensure proper food storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Participate in kitchen team meetings and contribute ideas for menu improvements.
- Closing duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and helping create memorable dining experiences for guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
