What You’ll Be Doing as the Accounting Specialist

- Analyze revenue, expenses and account activity while preparing financial transactions and accruals.
- Deliver monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and financial insights.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support month-end and year-end close.
- Identify financial risks, cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Partner with operational teams and provide guidance on cost control.

About You as the Accounting Specialist





- Working toward a Canadian CPA designation and currently enrolled in the PEP program.
- Are team-oriented, naturally communicative and are naturally inquisitive.
- Have 3+ years working in an analytical accounting role.
- Advanced Excel experience including big data management, pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Robust technological skills with the ability to learn new systems and dabble in the advanced tools such as Power BI.
