Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team at a busy Marine and Powersport dealership. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while coordinating repairs and maintenance. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for the Marine and Powersports industry.

Duties

- Greet customers and assess their service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of repair services and maintenance options.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow in the service department.
- Communicate with technicians regarding repairs and provide info to customers.
- Prepare accurate estimates for services and repairs, ensuring clarity for customers.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of service orders.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred.




- Strong sales skills with a proven ability to upsell services effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand repair processes and communicate effectively with technicians.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and services in the automotive industry.
