Private school is seeking an experienced bus driver. We are seeking a kind and caring person who would like to work with children over a wide age range.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of children on bus
- Documenting bus trips
- Performing safety checks on bus and equipment
- Keeping bus fueled, clean and safe
- Communicating with parents, teachers and students in a transparent and polite manner
Summary:
- Part-time split-shift position from Monday to Friday following the school calendar.
- Typical day shift of 6:30 -8:30 AM & 3:00-5:30 PM, for a total of 4-6 hours per day
- Potential for additional day-time field trip hours
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- 2 years minimum driving experience in Canada
- Valid class 2 driver's license with S endorsement
- Provide a driver's abstract
- Criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
- Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
