Do you love animals, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a team-oriented workplace? Golf Glen Veterinary Clinic is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Client Care Representative / Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Position: Part-Time | Approximately 15–25 hours per week

Proudly serving the Aurora and Newmarket communities since 1978, we have built a tradition of compassionate care, excellent service, client education, and strong relationships with the families we serve. Many of our patients have become part of our family over generations.

This is a hybrid role, combining client service and reception with hands-on support for our veterinary team and patients.

What You'll Do

Client Care

- Welcome clients and patients with warmth and compassion
- Answer phones, emails, and appointment requests
- Schedule appointments and assist with client inquiries
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Admit patients for appointments, surgeries, and procedures
- Provide basic education on nutrition, preventative care, medications, and post-operative instructions
- Promote clinic services and products
- Address client concerns professionally and involve the appropriate team member when needed
- Is comfortable learning clinic software and handling administrative tasks
- Is able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with animal handling when needed

Veterinary Assistant

- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with appointments and procedures
- Safely handle, restrain, and comfort patients




- Prepare and clean exam and treatment areas
- Assist with hospitalized patient care, feeding, walking, and monitoring
- Restock supplies and help maintain a clean, organized hospital
- Follow all patient care, safety, and sanitation protocols

We're Looking For Someone Who

- Genuinely loves animals and enjoys helping people
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is compassionate, organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Can stay calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable handling dogs and cats
- Is willing to learn and jump in wherever needed

Previous veterinary, animal care, or customer service experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right person.
