Under the direction of the Project Manager this position will conduct installs and support installers in the field. The Lead Hand will assist installers with complex plumbing or hard-to-complete installations.

General Responsibilities:

- Complete assigned appointments and install water meters, radios, and associated appurtenances.
- Hire, develop, and manage a team of Installers to complete radio and meter deployment.
- Assist in training Meter Installers.
- Administer Field Quality Assurance and warranty issues.
- Investigate and document any leaks or claims.
- Develop corrective measures to address quality issues around workmanship.
- Provide input to PM for updating project plans, project schedules.
- Respond to customer inquiries, problem solving in a skilled and effective fashion, acting as a resource in resolving customer issues brought to the department.
- Provide feedback to the Company regarding service failures or customer concerns. Provide feedback to the Field Services team to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information on order status and/or changes.
- Follow safety requirements and enforce safety requirements with installers.




- Conduct regular toolbox meetings as new safety concerns arise or to review ongoing safety concerns and follow-ups.
- Keep an active inventory of shop and materials.
- Manage inventory using software, and scan and assign water meters, radios, and tools.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly/yearly inspections including but not limited to General Site/storage inspections, fire extinguisher inspections, fire drills, etc.
- Work on 18 installs per day.
- Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager.

Education and Experience:

- 3+ years experience Installing Water Meters
- 3+ years' experience in supervisory role
- Experience using handhelds/workflows for capturing install data
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
