Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Custodian / Janitor for a leading furniture manufacturing company. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused individual who takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and safe work environments.

This is a great opportunity for someone with janitorial or custodial experience who enjoys working in a quick-paced manufacturing setting and wants stable, long-term employment.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime and weekend support may be required occasionally

Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize office and production areas
- Operate floor scrubbers and other industrial cleaning equipment
- Empty garbage and recycling bins safely
- Restock washroom and janitorial supplies
- Maintain outdoor walkways and common areas
- Follow WHMIS and workplace safety procedures
- Support production and maintenance teams as needed

Qualifications

- 2–3 years of janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience required
- Must be able to operate industrial scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is an asset




- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and WHMIS procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
