WE’RE HIRING – Retail Sales & Parts Associate

Full-Time | Permanent

Southwinds Marine is growing! As we prepare to move into a larger location in Collingwood, we’re looking for an organized, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our expanding retail team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, is comfortable learning new products and systems, and wants to be part of a growing business.

Work Schedule:
Regular hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Saturday availability is required.

Compensation:
Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with parts, accessories, products, and general inquiries
- Help customers find the right products for their needs
- Look up and order parts
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
- Process retail sales and customer payments
- Receive, unpack, label, and organize incoming inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory and product information
- Process special orders and follow up with customers
- Assist with online orders, shipping, and receiving
- Stock shelves and merchandise our retail space
- Work closely with our Service and Sales departments
- Assist with general administrative and retail duties as required

What We’re Looking For:





- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous retail, customer service, parts, or dealership experience is an asset
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Ability to lift and move inventory and merchandise as required
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Dependable, professional, and a team player
- Willingness to learn about marine products, parts, and accessories

Boating or marine knowledge would be a strong asset, but we encourage applicants with transferable retail, parts, automotive, powersports, or customer service experience to apply.

Experience with marine brands such as Volvo Penta, Mercury/MerCruiser, or similar products would also be an asset.
