Our client, an established cosmetics manufacturing and services company in Scarborough, is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruitment, employee administration, HR compliance, HRIS, and time & attendance functions.

Location: Scarborough, ON
Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually + benefits
Schedule: Full-time

Fluency in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, is required.

Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, references, and offers.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding and maintain employee records.
- Prepare employment agreements, HR letters, and related documentation.
- Assist with HR policies, employment standards, compliance, and workplace investigations.
- Maintain HRIS records and prepare reports and HR metrics.
- Administer time and attendance records, leave requests, and attendance reporting.
- Support payroll preparation and address attendance-related questions.
- Coordinate training, employee communications, and HR initiatives.
- Provide general HR support to employees and managers while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

- 2–3 years of HR experience, including full-cycle recruitment and HR administration.




- Recruitment/staffing agency experience strongly preferred.
- Diploma or degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with HRIS and time & attendance systems.
- Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR compliance.
- Robust communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Assets: CHRP designation/in progress and manufacturing industry experience.
