Experience in women’s health, men’s health, sexual health, reproductive health, hormone therapy, menopause care, or metabolic health is an asset. More importantly, we are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in this area of medicine and eager to continue learning.

The role will initially focus on patient intake, patient communication and support, administrative and clinical coordination, and development of online educational content. As the clinic grows, the position is expected to expand into more direct clinical care, including RN-led patient education and follow-up visits under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner.

Initial responsibilities will include:

- Conduct comprehensive patient intakes and gather relevant medical, medication, lifestyle, and symptom histories
- Provide excellent patient and customer support through phone, email, and virtual communication
- Respond to patient questions in a timely, professional, warm, and solution-focused manner
- Help patients navigate appointments, forms, laboratory testing, prescriptions, clinic services, fees, and general clinic processes
- Support the Nurse Practitioner with preparation for consultations and ongoing patient care
- Review patient charts and ensure required documentation, laboratory results, and intake information are complete
- Assist with administrative and clinical coordination within the practice

- Provide patient education and develop educational resources
- Create and contribute to online health content, including social media content, newsletters, patient handouts, and educational materials
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation within the clinic’s electronic medical record
- Help develop and improve clinic workflows, patient resources, and the overall patient experience
- Collaborate closely with the Nurse Practitioner and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and evidence-informed nursing practice

Future Scope

As the role develops, responsibilities may expand to include:

- RN-led patient follow-up appointments
- Monitoring symptoms, treatment response, adherence, and patient progress
- Reinforcing treatment plans and providing ongoing patient education
- Supporting patients receiving care for perimenopause, menopause, testosterone deficiency, hormone therapy, sexual health, weight management, and metabolic health
- Reviewing relevant health information and escalating clinical concerns to the Nurse Practitioner
- Supporting long-term patient engagement and continuity of care

Qualifications & Skills

- Current registration and good standing as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in women’s health, men’s health, sexual health, reproductive health, menopause, hormone therapy, or metabolic health is an asset
- Strong interest in hormone health and preventative healthcare
- Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Strong customer service and patient experience mindset
- Comfortable communicating with patients by phone, email, and virtual platforms
- Able to navigate sensitive conversations about sexual health, hormones, weight, aging,

and other personal health concerns professionally and without judgment
- Strong written communication skills and comfort creating patient-facing educational and online content
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable balancing clinical, administrative, and customer-support responsibilities
- Comfortable working independently within a virtual healthcare setting
- Confident using electronic medical records, online communication platforms, and other digital tools
- Adaptable and comfortable working within a growing practice where responsibilities may evolve

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is warm, professional, resourceful, and highly organized. You enjoy interacting with patients and understand that an exceptional healthcare experience includes not only excellent clinical care, but also responsiveness, communication, reliability, and service.

You are comfortable working with both women and men and discussing topics such as menopause, testosterone, libido, sexual health, weight, metabolism, and aging.

You are also someone who takes initiative. If you see a patient who needs assistance, a process that could work better, or an opportunity to improve the patient experience, you are comfortable stepping in and helping find a solution.
