Staff Housing Supervisor
Want a job that keeps you close to the mountain, surrounded by people from around the world, along with being fun, fast-paced, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. Every day is different; there’s always something happening!
We’re looking for a Staff Housing Supervisor to help keep our staff housing communities safe, clean, welcoming, and running smoothly.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role. You’ll support nearly 400 residents, but you won’t be supervising the staff you work alongside. Instead, you’ll take ownership of the buildings, help residents, handle whatever comes up, and play a big part in creating a great housing community.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Keep all shared spaces clean and welcoming
- Welcome residents and manage check-ins/check-outs
- Respond to resident and maintenance requests
- Enforce housing guidelines fairly and professionally
- Handle mail and basic administration
- Help with snow removal and other physical work
- Conduct building patrols and monitor access
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Work with Security, Maintenance, RCMP, and emergency services when needed
- Get involved in staff housing events and community activities
- Night shifts focus primarily on building safety, regular patrols,
resident support, and close-down procedures.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You’re...
Friendly, approachable, and confident with people from all backgrounds. You’re calm under pressure, comfortable working independently, organized, and happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing—including cleaning and snow shoveling.
You don’t need previous cleaning experience or First Aid certification, although both are definite assets.
Most importantly, you enjoy people. Our residents come from all over the world, and being able to make people feel welcome, build rapport quickly, and handle the occasional challenging situation is what makes someone excellent in this role.
Why You’ll Love It
- Small, supportive team
- Three days off per week is standard
- Plenty of time to enjoy the mountain
- Fun, social, and genuinely rewarding work
- Potential summer opportunities
Start: November 2, 2026
End: End of April–early May potential for summer
Current shifts are expected to be either 1 day + 3 nights or 2 days + 2 nights per week, averaging approximately 34.5 hours/week.
Shifts roll nicely into each other to help give you plenty of downtime between shifts.
