Look Optometry is growing, and we’re looking for an Optician or experienced Optometric Assistant to join our team.
Experience in optometry or optical is definitely an asset — but just as important to us is finding someone who is kind, dependable, sharp, positive and willing to take ownership.
We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to “work the front desk.”
We’re building a team of people who care about patients, support each other, solve problems, learn constantly and take pride in making the clinic better.
What you’ll be doing
- Welcoming and caring for patients from check-in to check-out
- Helping patients choose eyewear and understand lens options
- Frame adjustments, measurements and dispensing
- Supporting doctors with pre-testing and patient care
- Managing appointments, recalls and follow-up
- Helping keep the clinic organized and running smoothly
- Learning our systems, standards and workflows
- Working closely with our Practice Leader and clinical team
- Eventually owning an area of the clinic, not just completing tasks
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have optical or optometric-assistant experience
- Are a Licensed Optician — great, but not required
- Naturally connect with people
- Notice things that need to be done and do them
- Are comfortable learning technology and new systems
- Can handle a busy clinic without losing your warmth
- Enjoy goals, feedback and being part of a high-performing team
- Want somewhere you can grow over the next few years
