Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts sales and exceptional communication skills. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their automotive needs, ensuring they receive the correct parts and services promptly. Responsibilities

- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the right automotive parts for their vehicles.
- Maintain an organized inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Process transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Engage in sales activities, including negotiation and marketing of parts promotions to enhance sales performance.
- Maintain knowledge of current automotive repair trends and products to better assist customers.




- Uphold organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.

Skills

- Dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in POS systems and retail sales techniques.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with CDK
- Strong background in automotive repair knowledge enhances customer interactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Cash handling experience is essential for managing transactions accurately.
- Effective communication skills to convey information clearly to customers and team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis tasks.
