Position Summary

Avenge Energy Services is seeking Straight Vac Operators to work on rigs in the Peace River area. This is a full-time permenant position. You must be comfortable and experienced driving in extreme conditions and remote locations. Avenge offers opportunities for advancement and cross training to support a variety of fluid hauling roles.

The successful candidate must be able to travel regularly and work a varied schedule, with shift rotations and assignments based on a 50-hour workweek plus overtime.

Applicants must have a minimum of three years of remote oil and gas driving experience and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Preference will be given to local and Alberta-based applicants.

Key Responsibilities

- Drives and operates the truck in a safe and appropriate manner, including on remote roads with restrictions
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Performs laborer tasks as required
- Monitors vehicle condition, inspects fluid levels, and checks fitness of machinery




- Communicates effectively with rig crews and site supervisors to coordinate hauling and vac truck needs

What You Bring to Avenge:

- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 license with a 5-year clean driver's abstract (required)
- Minimum 3 years of previous straight vac truck driving experience (rig experience preferred)
- 3 years of experience driving on remote roads in all weather conditions (preferred)
- Ability to take and follow direction for work assignments, in both supervised and unsupervised settings
- Active Safety Certificates: First Aid, H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space, CSO, PCST, and GD201 (Global or Aztec)
- Ability to recognize and report hazards
- Sound decision-making and good judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Above-average electronic skills, including comfort using smartphone apps
- Ability to pass company and client drug and alcohol testing protocols
